High School Program

Leadership, Service, and Community - built on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ, defines our High School Program.  Our students will learn how to take college classes, earn college credit, create a strong transcript, and apply these skills once they launch.  Not all of our students will be college bound but they will carry tremendous skills to trades and a multitude of career opportunities.  Our college focused students will have a strong and defendable transcript when applying for the collegiate level.  Students desiring to attend a trade school or dive straight into the work force will be equipped to take action.

High School Classes

Three Peaks Academy is a 24 week, drop-off program that focuses on extra-curricular subjects.  The academic year will be split evenly into two, 12 week, sessions with a long Christmas/Holiday break.  Classes and activities will be held on Mondays from approximately 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM.  All High School students will participate in the following classes (subject to change), morning assembly, and recess.

*We are excited to welcome 9th graders for the 2025-2026 school year. Expected launch for 10th grade is coming soon in the 2026-2027 academic year.

College Preparation

The focus of each course will be about  learning to dissect information from various sources, obtaining independent study habits, and interpreting various perspectives while looking to the Bible for truth. Students will have the option to enroll in an additional online college course through Modern States. After completion of the modules, students may sit for the CLEP Exam to earn college credit. This class will help build skills to help students successfully complete the college course but will not replicate the online course material.

Essential Skills

With a new hands on activity each week, students will be guided to learn both teacher and student directed topics. Students will have the opportunity to lead, be part of a group, and learn about skills that are of interest to their peers. Successfully sharing their own skills will help grow an ease with public speaking, and confidence to step into

leadership roles.

Service

High School students will be serving our smallest mountaineers for a fraction of the lower grades’ recess.  Collaborating with teachers and aides, students will be helping to teach rules of recess games, playing gently together, and providing encouragement to their school mates. This gives our older students an opportunity to demonstrate our “Three Peaks”: INTEGRITY, HUMILITY, and DILIGENCE by example.

for all to enjoy.

The PSAT will be covered in 9th Grade and preparation for the SAT will be in 10th Grade.
